"I was seriously ill last week and almost died, I had a missed miscarriage at 13+2 weeks went in to 'give birth' this failed and I ended up bleeding very heavily and got sepsis. I had to have a blood transfusion of 2 litres of blood. pastel and blushing items for a prom party

"Unfortunately as a result of surgery I also ended up having two massive blood clots one in each lung plus several smaller ones. I ended up in ITU and thankfully treatment worked and I am back home recovering with my two sons.

"I know I can't personally thank who donated the blood I received but I'd just like to say a huge thank you to those who do donate blood from the bottom of my heart."
